CRUZA is a collaboration between the Department of Physics and the Faculty of Design at the University of Buenos Aires. It was born at the intersection of different skillsets, delivering a new insight into what light-sheet microscopes can do for you.ย

The best features in a compact instrument that fits on any bench
4D scanning: 3 linear scan axes to ensure the sample is always in the center of the excitation and detection path. The rotation allows to acquire images at multiple angles and the software reconstructs the 3D volume.
Reflective optics ensure minimal chromatic aberrations in the excitation path. Use multiple wavelengths that match different fluorophores without sacrificing resoltuion.
A fiber-coupled laser ensures flexibility and robustness. Forget about realigning, add as many different excitation options as you need for your application.
Digital input-output pins allow to synchronize the filter wheel with different excitation sources and the camera. Leverage our programmable electronics to push the boundaries of your research.
By design, Cruza is compatible with most cameras that feature a C-Mount. Use expensive sCMOS only when required, use affordable cameras for inspection of samples.
Get multi-spectral data with our innovative filter wheel. Synchronize the acquisition with your illumination sources, or acquire different bands sequentially.
